This is the wonderful & humble basement shop at my old house where I worked from 2002 through 2017. Sometimes, the entire basement would be filled with repair/service work including a batch of 20 synths for a local music store at one point. It all worked out. Two of the Purplehearts, all Lo and Hi power Infernos, the first 14 Golden Ratios, the Tesseract, Lotus’ 18 Watt, Vibe prototype, Several stereo amplifiers, preamps, headphone amplifiers as well as several dozen custom one-off projects were designed and built here.
I consider myself fortunate to have had access to such a versatile little shop. Looking back, it was a small fraction of the space I currently inhabit. That never really hindered me from creating some pretty strong work there. Do more, with less.
